Criteria for the EUPRIO Award

Outstanding communication vision, practices and work in European Higher Education is defined. It is not just a tool from the communication department. It can be a campaign for alumni, for lobbying, for prospective students, but there is always a broader interest involved.

An interest that makes communication worthwhile for the university-community, the university board and stakeholders in society. Communication is not a stand-alone thing. It is the university department campaign or person that can demonstrate how its communications strategy has delivered preferably measurable changes in public/university community perception or behaviour
and stands out as an example of best practice.

The EUPRIO Award will be awarded to:

1. The communicator that is judged to have delivered the most innovative, cost effective all round  communications campaign or tool. Campaigns are awarded on a paper and a score based on supplied evidence of their efforts to achieve excellence in communications through PR, print, and technology.
OR
2. The communicator that can demonstrate in a paper how its communications strategy has delivered measurable changes in public perception and/or university community behaviour and stands out as an example of best practice supported by the executive board.
