I'm heading the History working group, initiated last year by the Steering Committee. The main objective of this group is to organize recent and past information about the life and highlights of the association. Organizing an archive, editing a printed document on past events are part of our job, which we intend to complete in the next few years.

Why did you get engaged in the SC, why do you think it is important?
I've been a member of the Steering Committee for 5 years now. The association need members to organise activities and conferences, to plan new actions and to take care of everyday matters. So why not taking part ? Besides the Steering Committee is composed of members from different countries and it is a good opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with colleagues from all over Europe.

What are the biggest challenges for university communication in your country? And in Europe?
One of the biggest challenges that most of the French-speaking universities in Belgium are facing at the moment is merging. From 2, 3 or more universities you've got to make only one and to reorganize the way of thinking communication. That's also one of the biggest challenges I'm personnally facing now and I find this period really thrilling.
