Since the Presidency of Paolo Pomati I am the leader of the newsletter working group.

Why did you get engaged in the SC, why do you think it is important?
Because I am convinced that Europe is very important. So I believe that it is not enough to say that Europe is important, over this one have to work for the importance of Europe. Working in the EUPRIO and the SC is a way to show this.

The situation for Germany for university communications:
Since about 1969 in Germany exist the national organisation. We have every year a big national meeting of the Press and PR officers. Below this we have organisations in the different German countries. The level of our members is quite high, all might have studied at universities.

What are the biggest challenges for university communication in your country? And in Europe?
The increasing of competition between the universities and the lack of money for student education and research.
